IMPORTANT NOTICE
Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to, or must be understood to, unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created for either the participants or the promoter in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008 (“the CPA”).
Competition rules:
Entry details and closing dates are as per the competition advertisements.
The winners must be available to be photographed (pictures will appear on social media).
All prizes must be collected. Maximum one prize per customer.
The competition is open to everyone except for the following people:
a) a director, member, partner, employee, tenant or agent of or consultant to the promoter or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the promoter as well as a supplier of goods or services in connection with the competition; or
b) a spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner or associate of a person contemplated in paragraph (a).
Participants must be South African citizens or permanent residents and must be over the age of 18 years to qualify for entry.
The prize cannot be exchanged for cash; the judge’s decision is final. No substitution or assignment of the prizes are permitted, but the organisers of the Competition and promoter reserve the right to substitute the prize with one of comparable value for any reason whatsoever.
By entering this competition, the entrant authorises the collection, storing and use the personal information of entrants for marketing, statistical and communication purposes.
GENERAL
The Competition is sponsored by Pick n Pay Retailers (Proprietary) Limited with its registered address at 101 Rosmead Avenue, Kenilworth, 7708. Rights are reserved to amend the terms and conditions as well as terminate the competition at any time. In the event of such termination, all participants agree to waive any rights that they may have in terms of the competition and acknowledge that they will have no recourse against The Shopping Centre; Pick n Pay Retailers (Pty) Ltd; its sponsors, its advertising agencies, advisors, suppliers and nominated agents.
Neither Pick n Pay Retailers (Pty) Ltd; The Shopping Centre, nor any of its sponsors, affiliates and agencies, nor their employees accepts liability for any:
Injury, losses or damage sustained as a result of the use of the prize or participation in the competition. Any violation or attempt to violate any of the above rules will result in the immediate disqualification of the transgressor.
Oversight, ambiguity, error or omission, whether negligent or otherwise, which any of the employees, agents, affiliates or sponsors may commit in the running of the competition and the awarding of the prizes.
